Subframe
Alpha Decking Composite Boards can be laid onto a suitable subframe with joists made from composite materials such as our composite joists, our structural composite joists, timber joists or aluminium joists.
Joist Centres
When laying we recommend joist centre spacing of between 300mm-400mm based on using joists equivalent to 4×2 (100mmx50mm)
Fixings
Our initiative hidden fixing system means clips and screws are not seen.
Cutting
Our composite decking boards can be easily to size using normal woodworking tools. The easiest way to cut boards however is using a Mitre Saw (Chop Saw) with a fine tooth blade.
Our boards are perfect for:
• Garden Decking • Roof Terrace Decking • Modernising Caravan Decking • Veranda Decking
• Pool Decking • Jacuzzi Decking • Bars & Restaurants & more
Our Composite Decking boards are low to no maintenance with no yearly painting or staining required. Boards do not rot due to the plastic content and will split or splinter making them safe for all the family both young and older. The composite decking is slip resistant with our traditional groove side designed to be extremely slip resistant but with both sides including the deep embossed wood grain side offering great slip resistance in wet weather.
Manufactured almost entirely from recycled materials; they are made from 60% recycled wood and 40% recycled plastic with additives and bonding agents.
